Kevin, I am very interested in your feedback. I saw a strong buy signal on all five indicators at 12:04 for BIDU. The price was possibly “hugging” the BB but plainly exceeding it.

The price dropped slightly below 167.44 at 14:36 but not enough to close a trade. Here is a screen shot. Was this a “false” buy signal?

Ron, the first major problem with that trade is that the bottom Bollinger Band is clearly moving in an upward direction, which signals upside and eventual consolidation, i.e, there is no way that type of trade would be exited within a short time-frame. I remember seeing this trade and passed on it for these reasons.

BIDU touched 166.04 today, nearly 24 hours after the buy signal at 167.44.
